A Holiday Blessing – La Vergine Degli Angeli 節日的祝福

年終快到的，雖然我沒有過節的習慣，但也不免注意到 it’s holiday season (多謝商家們的提醒)。最近盤旋在我腦裡的曲子是這首La Vergine Degli Angeli

這首曲子是Verdi’s La Forza Del Destino (The Force of Destiny 命運之力) 第二幕終女主角Leonora躲入修道院裡所唱的祈禱曲。

Pink Martini的女主唱的key很”平易近人”，因此要跟著唱比跟Callas容易多了。又學了一首歌了。:P

— 題外話 —

我第一次接觸La Forza Del Destino是 (again) 透過法國電影Jean de Florette及Manon des Sources二部曲。電影配樂就是採用”Le minaccie, i fieri accenti” (“May the winds carry off with them”) 這段Alvaro (男高音) 與Carlo (男中音) 二重唱 (Wiki是說”Invano Alvaro”，但取用的旋律是從”Le minaccie, i fieri accenti”開始)。命運不可抗拒*的力量逼迫兩位同袍朋友相戰。這裡可以聽聽Bergonzi的演唱 (with Fisher-Dieskau)。

這兩部電影是80年代法國電影的代表作品，很值得一看。拍攝的地點是在Provence (普羅旺斯)地區，也因此促進了當地的觀光。
